Most of the northwest oil and gas fields are open-air operation areas. Traditional battery is not usable in the winter average temperature(-25 degreesCelsius). However, lead-crystal batteries, because of their excellent low temperature resistance, can still be used well in such extreme conditions. Therefore, lead-crystal battery has been widely used in the monitoring system of northwest oil & gas field in China, to ensure the safety of extraction operations.
